Ricky Collard has a busy race programme ahead for 2020 as he competes once again with R-Motorsport in his second year with the Swiss team. He’ll be competing in the GT World Challenge Europe in both the Endurance and Sprint Cup.
Following a hugely successful career in karting, MSA Formula and British Formula 3, Ricky (23) has spent the last three seasons in GT Racing, including the Blancpain GT Series. The 22-year-old competed in the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe and the 24 hours of Spa for R-Motorsport in 2019 and won a sprint race at the Nürburgring together with Marvin Kirchhöfer.
This year Collard, who has been promoted to a pro-driver with his R-Motorsport is concentrating on the GT World Challenge Europe.
Ricky Collard: “I feel very comfortable at R-Motorsport and can't wait to start the new season. Our first year in the Sprint Cup was promising. After my victory together with Marvin at the Nürburgring 2019, it must of course be our goal to have a say in the title award this year.”
He'll be partnered by James Pull in the Sprint Cup and is taking on the Endurance championship hunt with Dani Juncadella and Jake Dennis.
