New livery unveiled as Rob gears up for 2018 season

Rob’s 2018 race car was unveiled at the season launch of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Donington Park today (27 March).

The WSR-run Team BMW 125i M Sport pays tribute to the traditional BMW M Sport colours that have been carried by countless numbers of championship-winning touring cars since the 1970s.

As the paddock came together for the official press launch Rob joined team-mates Colin Turkington and Andrew Jordan for another pre-season test ahead of the first race-weekend of the year. The 60th Anniversary BTCC season kicks off at Brands Hatch in Kent on April 7-8.

Rob said:

“I’m incredibly proud to race under the official BMW M Sport colours which come with an incredible history of success. Today’s test allowed us to continue our process of winter development, aimed at enhancing the car’s exceptional track record of performance and reliability. We are fully focussed on retaining both the Teams and Manufacturers championships, which I played a key role in securing in 2017, and having come so close in 2017 and 2016 I’m confident of fighting at the front for the 2018 drivers title.”
